Hillsboro woman sentenced to prison for trafficking methA Hillsboro woman arrested in May as part of a Highland County Task Force drug investigation was sentenced last week to two and a half years in prison. Karissa Runyon, 30, was among 15 individuals arrested Wednesday, May 9, one day after the Highland County grand jury session. Fifteen indictments handed down in May were the result of ongoing work of the Highland County Task Force and local county law enforcement partners to stop drug trafficking in the area.
